At the Neuro-Biomorphic Engineering Lab (NBEL) we are innovating at the interface of Mechanical EngineeringBioengineeringComputer Science, Applied Physics, and Microelectronics. We aim to develop the next generation of nature-inspired computing architectures while utilizing trans-disciplinary engineering to uncover complex biological behavior.

We are developing a Neuromorphic Central Processing Unit (NeuroProcessor) for microfluidics; Integrating Finite Element Modeling (FEM),  experimental micro-scale velocimetries and mathematical analysis to characterize microcirculatory disorders and to model biological processes; and we are creating the first component-based architecture, which will integrate computer and software engineering with micro-scale flow patterns.

Located at the Jerusalem College for Technology (JCT), we collaborate with numerous laboratories in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv University and Bar Ilan University.
